Canon 5D Mark III/IV 24-105mm DSLR Camera

Canon’s most recognizable and popular full frame DSLR series gets even better with the Mark IV. Almost identical in appearance to its predecessor, it adds 4K video capture, Dual Pixel autofocus and a variety of other upgrades. It’s a camera that’s designed to appeal to a broad range of enthusiasts and professional photographers alike.

The Canon 5D Mark III/IV 24-105mm DSLR Camera Underwater Housing is an industry leading design that offers excellent ergonomics and a reliable build. It features a clear viewfinder with a large magnification, a large grip for comfortable shooting and plenty of room for attaching accessories. A moisture alarm alerts the photographer right away in the event of a water leak, while a manual, 5-pin Nikonos bulkhead connector allows for easy attachment of external strobes.

Its weather-sealed magnesium shell keeps the camera dry to 197′ and can be used with most Canon lenses including the wide-angle zoom lens, enabling the user to capture high resolution images at depths up to 330 feet. Its large touch screen, a powerful processor, 4K video capability, high ISO low light capabilities and a customizable user interface all combine to make it a highly desirable underwater camera for many.

The camera’s 61-point autofocus system is very quick and precise, which makes it well suited to tracking moving subjects and it can be manually selected from six modes: Spot, Single Point with surrounding four points, Zone Selection, All-I, and Auto AF area mode. It can also focus on a face in manual mode and it has an enhanced viewfinder display that displays the active AF point as a circle.

In-camera image processing is extensive, allowing the user to apply Picture Styles, an Auto Lighting Optimizer, High ISO Noise Reduction, Color Spaces, Peripheral Illumination Correction and Chromatic Aberration Correction in order to achieve a desired look. The camera can also record in RAW format to take advantage of the sensor’s sensitivity and provide more control over post-production processes.

One of the biggest improvements that has been made is to the GP-E2 GPS receiver which can be hot-shoe mounted or bracket-mounted and provides latitude, longitude, altitude and compass direction information as well as UTC time. The camera can also record location data to its memory card using new Map Utility software.
