As an avid food lover, I am constantly looking for cool restaurants to satisfy my cravings and curiosity. My food is my adventure, I like to try new dishes but above all I like to enjoy them in a satisfying environment with a pleasant atmosphere. So, in this article, my goal is to get the message across to restaurant owners or potential owners about what makes an environment appealing to diners.

1. Cleaning – I mention this first because it is the most important. Good hygiene in areas where food is prepared and served is a definite must. From the actual food to the dishes to the table, everything must be clean at all times. At the first sign of a dirty fork, he claimed that he had made his customer uncomfortable.

2. Be creative: Unique themes and décor are one of the biggest draws in the restaurant business, often more so than the food served. Give a lot of thought to how your restaurant is decorated and research color schemes and elements that would make your target audience feel relaxed and inspired.

3. Be original: From the dishes you serve to the bathroom fixtures, think outside the box! Customers will always remember a uniquely presented dish or the accessories and displays on offer. Even the way condiments are displayed on the table can impress someone! I love moose restaurants!

4. Environment: this is the key. Use candles or dim lights to provide a romantic or tranquil setting for dinner parties. If it’s a beautiful day outside, open the windows and let in the sunlight. Classical music in the background always sparks a relaxing atmosphere.

5. Service – yes, good old fashioned service. Make sure your staff is presentable, clear-spoken and friendly. Not only do they guarantee a large tip, but they are the perfect ambassadors for your restaurant. I know a lot of people who go back to restaurants to be waited on by a certain waiter. I understand that, as with most things, mistakes do happen, but do your best not to make mistakes when ordering correctly and implementing other restaurant processes, and if you do, make it up to the customer.

All of these concepts may seem obvious, but you’d be surprised at some of the ignorant restaurants I’ve come across. Make an effort and your customers will make an effort to join you for a meal. All the points I listed are important and necessary, but if you want to go the extra mile, I suggest you think hard about the originality of your restaurant.
