Creating Asian skin tones is the same process as creating a Caucasian baby, it just requires different color blends. Once you’ve added some very subtle streaks in your kit, begin layering skin as you would a Caucasian doll, heating between layers in a low oven for 8 minutes. The amount of skin you add to your baby is a personal preference. It’s best to stop once you’re sure you’ve replicated an Asian hue, keeping in mind that with all revivals, less is more, so once you feel you have the right color, it’s best to stop so you don’t have to remove the color later. The details on Asian reborns are also slightly different than what you would add on a fair-skinned baby. Black hair would be an authentic looking color choice. This could be mixed with a slightly lighter shade for a subtle effect. Brows can be added with a prism pencil in an almost black shade, remembering to use light, quick strokes and keep the pencil sharp at all times so you don’t end up with a thick, unnatural looking brow. Lashes should be the darkest shade used on the hair. This will provide more definition to the eyes and will make the eye color stand out more. Blush and wrinkle details on an Asian skinned baby should be a slightly darker shade, taking your red blush and adding the least amount of brow brown and mixing it with your odorless solvent will give you an ideal shade to highlight certain areas .
