Suzie Marsh resides in Cornwall, where she has her own Suzie Marsh sculptor workshop called Liskeard. While renowned for her unique pieces of animal sculpture in a global sense of the word, Suzie has been able to create more limited edition pieces of art and this includes life-size sculptures.

She was first known in the UK for selling her animal pieces in various art galleries in the UK before becoming popular internationally. She too, thanks to the constant expansion of her portfolio, was recognized for her sculptures of African wildlife. Other than that, his usual works of art only include ducks, hares, and birds. There are also a number of sculptures that he made that were created with cold cast bronze resin.

Suzie Marsh earned her degree in ceramic sculpture from Brighton and Exeter Colleges of Art in 1982. After working as a designer for Devon-based companies long enough to learn new ideas about commercialized production, she decided to set up her own workshop. Since 1986, he has evolved and become popular for his sculptures, which are the ideal gift to display in the garden and home. It is also widely considered to be a leader in the interpretation of the house cat.

Using these materials, Suzie creates various animal designs such as meerkats, ducks, horses, pigs, bears, and hippos. She makes all of these as limited editions and as exclusive commissions. Suzie is in awe of a variety of animal forms and yet is obsessed with her studies on cats. Over time, she found it interesting to broaden her range of subjects, including many other animals, and is now known for her sculptures portraying African wildlife. From portraits of some pets to a huge water dragon sculpture in a privately owned lake, she did them all.

His handcrafted sculptures were constructed from fired stoneware clays cooked between 1220 and 1280 degrees Celsius, either in electric or gas ovens. To maintain the detailed texture of the clay, Suzie uses enamels. And finally, to give life and color to his work, he uses pigments and ceramic oxides.

It’s not difficult for Suzie Marsh to get inspired simply by observing how animals move, act, and live. In addition to being a well-known house cat image sculptor, she is also a regular charitable donor to The Cats Protection League. With every sale you make, it is believed that you donate it to the charity.
