It is very natural and common for people to want to get things for free and live without any precautions or legal discipline. People want the freedom to do what they want and go where they want. They hate being told what to do and how to do things and this kind of attitude has led many to failure and sometimes an early grave. This is a childish attitude, a child wants to eat sugar alone, but the adult helps the child control her diet for a healthy life. Freedom is the ability to discipline yourself to do only those things that will help you move forward in life.
However, there is one thing about freedom, and that is the fact that it becomes something else when your freedom becomes a burden to other people. Any freedom that you express that is giving another person a headache is not freedom at all, now it is an oppression of other people. When you use your freedom to earn and enjoy money to rob other people of their work or their hard-earned money, you are not doing humanity a good service. Freedom is de facto freedom when it does not infringe the rights of other people. It is a free world for everyone, not just for you, you have to be considerate of others.
Anyone who is considerate and respects the rights and freedom of other people cannot but be very successful in everything he does. You will be truly successful when you understand that true freedom is the freedom of those around you. The world system was created by God to reward people according to what they do. Anyone who respects the rights and freedom of other people will do quality work that is worth more than what they are paid. Those people will always give more value than they are rewarded, they are willing to help other people, they are happy only when they can make others happy.
Each of us had been favored by people who had come before us. We were born homeless, parents and teachers helped us get a good start in life. Schools, churches, and even civil society helped us become the people we are today. Therefore, we must give back to our families, schools, churches, and society at large. This is true freedom. It is giving and receiving, it is receiving and enjoying the favor of others and giving back to people and society some of the things that you have freely enjoyed. Therefore, in the real sense, nothing is free. You enjoyed some freebies, but when the time comes, you pay one way or another.
Let me tell you that those who understand the principles of repayment are the ones who pay their taxes, pay their church titles, help their parents in old age, and do things that advance their society. Those people who have a free-for-all mentality cannot go beyond a certain level of success. You have to understand that life not only revolves around you, it also revolves around other people. Therefore, freedom is respecting other people, helping the weak and giving them the best you can. It is a free world, and what makes it truly free is the point I just made above.
God gave each of us the freedom to choose what we want. We are so free that everyone can decide their eternal destiny by accepting or rejecting Jesus Christ. Man has sinned and condemned to destruction. God planned salvation for humanity, but He does not impose it on anyone. The freedom is still there for a man to choose to accept Jesus as Lord and be saved or to reject him and be damned. As powerful as God is, He does not force His will on anyone, in fact, He respects your decision. Why is this so? God had put on earth certain laws that reward or punish our actions. When we use our freedom correctly, we enjoy the reward; on the other hand, when we misuse our freedom or use it to oppress or annoy other people, we suffer the consequences.
Is there anything free in this world? Hmm! The answer is no. It is a world of sowing and reaping, some call it cause and effect. You will certainly reap all that you sow, and whatever cause you initiate will come back to you as an effect. The truth is this, whatever you are going through today is an effect that you caused at times in your life. You will live a long time if you planted the cause of longevity early in your life and you will get rich if you were able to sow the seed. The good news is this, nothing is ever too late. Any effect you want can be caused from this very moment. There are things to do to get anything you want in your life. God made this life so easy for man that there is nothing he really wants that he really can’t get. It is a certainty that you will always get what you really want. The intensity of the desire will determine how soon you get it and in what quantity and quality. It is a free world, enjoy freedom, but respect the rights of others.
