There are too many shoes to keep track of this year, but here are a few that I suggest you consider. I will mention some shoes that I think everyone will like and are extremely comfortable when wearing. Some of these shoes are from Nike and others from Adidas. These won’t be outrageously expensive either, with the most expensive being around $200. I’ve owned all of these shoes and can tell you personally that they are all quality shoes and worth their money. First, I’ll start with my favorite pair so far and that is the Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit. These shoes, as I mentioned in the other post, are the most comfortable shoes in my collection so far. They have air bubbles at the bottom that make you feel like you’re running on clouds. The rubber outsole in the heel helps with durability and adds comfort as well. They just feel like you’re bouncing when you run. Flyknit material makes them lightweight and feels like you’re in socks while you run. There are many color combinations, I opted for the black ones, and they are also available to customize. The innovators at Nike got rid of the midsole of this shoe so you can actually feel the air under the shoe. They explain this as pressure builds when you step on the shoe and pressure is released when your foot lifts off the ground, creating a bouncy feel when you run. These shoes will allow you to run for miles without your feet getting tired or sore.
Second, I recommend the Nike Air Max 270. These shoes are perfect for running or walking. They’re specific to running but feel just as good if you’re walking at a fast pace. These shoes feature the largest heel air unit for Nike and provide the perfect fit for your foot, they look great too. They also come in many color combinations so you can choose which color looks best and they also allow your foot to breathe. These shoes are very flexible and your feet won’t get tired after wearing them for a while. You can wear them all day and not think about the comfort of your feet. These shoes are also offered in Flyknit material to allow more ventilation for your foot and allow you to stay cool when it’s hot outside. I bought a pair of these shoes for my mom because her job requires her to do a lot of walking and she enjoys them a lot. Her feet don’t hurt as much as the other shoes she had on, because she had flat shoes that put stress on her feet after a while. She enjoys them and wears them daily.
Thirdly, these sneakers have been around forever but they are a classic, the Nike Air Force. These shoes were the most popular when I was in high school and not because they were comfortable like the other shoes I mentioned, but because they were affordable, right at the hundred dollar mark, but because they were extremely white. These shoes make your whole outfit stand out and you could wear them with anything and they would look great. These shoes have so many color combinations that I can’t keep track of them. I prefer the white ones because they are the ones that stand out the most, but I have seen almost all the colors in this shoe. It’s been around forever and will remain a Nike classic for years to come. These shoes are made from leather, so it’s smart to get the ForceFields and choose a half size larger to give yourself enough room for the insert and foot. ForceFields I explained in one of my other posts. These shoes seem stiff when you first wear them, but they “break in.” It’s not the most comfortable shoe at first, but once you put it on, it’s a very normal everyday shoe.
Fourth, the first Adidas shoes I recommend are the NMD XR1. These shoes are great for running because they are very lightweight and have a mesh material around the shoe that allows the foot to breathe. They have very good traction and durability due to the rubber outsole and also provide a heel cage. The heel cage is perfect for the shoe because it helps the shoe fit your foot perfectly. When you run in these, you won’t feel the strain on your feet from all the impact and instead feel comfortable with every step you take. Like all the shoes I’ve mentioned, these come in a variety of colors so you can choose the one that interests you the most. These are also super easy to clean with the Jason Markk Shoe Cleaner I mentioned in my other post. I have been cleaning them frequently because the mesh material seems to get dirty easily but all the stains come off, they look like new every time I clean them. Also, the last shoe I recommend is the Cloudfoam Racer TR shoes from Adidas. These shoes are fairly new to my collection and one of my favorites from Adidas. These are meant for outdoor runners and provide great comfort, just like any shoe I mention. When I saw that these shoes had the Cloudfoam cushioning I had to try them out because I had never heard of it before. I was not disappointed when I got to the store to try them on. As I mentioned, these shoes are great for outdoor trail running in the neighborhood and your feet hurt like most shoes do when running on trails or concrete. They’re also made from mesh material so your foot can breathe and rubber outsoles for durability. In conclusion, these are my favorite shoes of 2018 so far and I will continue to post new trucks as I find shoes that fit my needs.
