Here is my internet marketing strategy in brief. You want your campaign to be up and running. So the preliminary step in my internet marketing strategy is to research my audience for my industry. Within this industry group, I would like to further narrow the niche. This niche is the internet marketing and money making niche. So I need to meet people who are looking to make money through internet marketing.

Next, I ask which group of people is looking to make the most money. I guess most people on the internet secretly wish they could crack the code to make money online. Who doesn’t want more money? I try to put myself in the position of other people and see how they spend time researching “online income opportunities”, “making money writing articles”, “internet business”, “affiliate marketing” and so on. I see some of them at work, but they absolutely hate their job and are exploring to earn money online before they can quit their jobs. I see some of them hoping to earn a little more online.

These are the people who are just like me when I used to run straight to internet search engines after work every day. These are the people I can focus on because the product I am promoting would be just as useful to them or even more than to me. So my audience is like me who is struggling to get into internet marketing like before and highly motivated to earn online like before. So, I would focus my promotion towards them. But what is even more important to me is being on the ethical site. So I will try to generate honest income on what I like and what I do not like about this product that I recommend.

In the next stage I think, expand and write down the list of all the audience groups that could possibly be interested in my product. So my list includes:

– internet marketers

-businesses that seek to make a visibility on the Internet

– affiliate marketers

– advertisers (Google AdSense)

– advertisers (yahoo search marketing)

-work at home moms / dads

-people with website / web shop

-business opportunities

-Online business

These are the most common audience groups or industries that I will pay attention to in my campaigns when promoting the product I have to offer. However, I also have to be careful about the keyword chosen for promotion. It has to be limited and relevant and not broad and generalized if I want to have a better conversion rate. If my keyword reflects exactly what I’m promoting, those who don’t need my product won’t come. Then I will get my niche audience. Therefore, I will not go for the shortcut and the easiest route. So I will focus on relevancy and longest tail keywords that will immediately tell what the product is about.

Next, I will think of all those on the audience list that you may not have thought of. For example, office workers, students, retired workers, those with credit card debt, etc. All of them may be spending time on the Internet looking for ways to earn some money. In other words, the relevance of the keywords to target is a critical factor in the success of the strategy itself.
