You can quickly and cheaply change your kitchen cabinet knobs for a remarkable facelift and it won’t take more than an afternoon to do it. Take a trip to your local hardware store or search online to get an idea of the wide variety of hardware you can choose from. A decent sized store will have at least a hundred different varieties of knobs and pulls in styles like ceramic, glass, brass, and plastic. You can get them in gold, silver, or different shades of white with accent colors. Truly the options are almost endless.
The best method is to first decide if you need round knobs or elongated pulls for your door and drawer handles. If you already have pulls, you’ll want to keep doing this, as it requires more than one screw hole and you don’t want an unused hole in your cabinet door. If you currently only use knobs, you may choose to pull and drill an additional screw hole.
Now evaluate the color. If necessary, take one of your cabinet doors with you and match your favorite knobs to the door to make sure the colors blend well. You don’t want something that clashes radically with the basic look of the cabinet.
