The Dodge Challenger began its swift reign of power in the early 1970s and ran for a four-year run, then was discontinued for another four years, followed by five more years, and then disappeared. Until the third-generation challenger emerged in full force in 2008. The debut of this lost beast was in February. 6, 2008. And yes, it comes with a Hemi. Dodge / Chrysler didn’t hold back in recreating this animal. The first third-generation model was an SRT8 6.1 L Hemi V8 that came in Hemi Orange. The 2010 models will not be available in Hemi orange, but will feature Plum Crazy and Detonator Yellow. Regardless of which model you choose, they can all be pushed to an even higher limit than what Chrysler / Dodge had originally planned. One of the most popular upgrades, whether you’re a car enthusiast or not, is the high-performance exhaust systems on the Dodge Challenger.

MBRP exhaust systems have been the industry leader for over fifteen years. MBRP has designed an exhaust system to bring out the full potential of the Dodge Challenger. The MBRP Dodge Challenger line of exhausts covers all third-generation models. They come ready to pump power for both dual exhaust V8 Challengers and single exhaust V6 Challengers. The horsepower gains that can be expected from the MBRP innovation are an additional 20-30 horsepower, depending on the size of the engine. They come with two types of stainless steel, T-304 and T-409. They will also increase the torque by about 24 ft / lbs. All MBRP Dodge Challenger exhaust system products come with a limited lifetime warranty against defects. And if anyone cares, they will be rewarded with conservative driving by increasing gas mileage by 1-3 miles per gallon.

Next on the list of exhaust products is the Magnaflow line. Magnaflow has over 25 years of experience adding a little more to the exhaust industry. Does anyone remember “Grave Digger”? When I was a kid, “Grave Digger” was my favorite monster truck. Magnaflow was affiliated with driver Dennis Anderson who drove the infamous monster truck. Where performance was most important, for life and a career, Magnaflow has been and will continue to be put to the test. Since then, they have moved to a much larger world trying to adopt most models of cars and trucks. These systems will give a Dodge Challenger a more aggressive sound that we all love. They will also improve gas mileage, horsepower and torque. You cannot put a price on the beauty that this system will bring to the already beautiful Dodge Challenger.

The third and final line of exhausts that we will touch on are the Corsa exhaust systems. Corsa started with rival Corvette in 1998 and ventured to create what is now another of the leaders in the field of Performance Exhaust. Corsa has one of the most advanced exhaust systems in the world. They are designed to offer exactly what the Dodge Challenger needs to outperform the competition. They were designed to maximize power, eliminate the drone while navigating and the sound it will create will be the voice that suits the personality of the Dodge Challenger.

There are many other exhaust systems available on the market, but for a while we were only able to touch a couple. They were not put in any specific order and they will all increase the performance of any Dodge Challenger. Drive hard and have fun doing it!
